Giant Donkey Kong being fought in Super Smash Bros. by human player Mario and allies Jigglypuff and Kirby.
Giant Donkey Kong is a recurring enemy in the Super Smash Bros. series.
He first appeared in Super Smash Bros.s 1P Game as a giant opponent. DK has little knockback when attacked, while his own attacks send opponents flying, making him a formidable opponent on higher difficulties, although you do face him with two regular-sized AI partners.
Giant Donkey Kong's appearance on the Jungle Japes stage in the Adventure Mode of Super Smash Bros. Melee.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee, his normal Super Mushroom variety appears in the second stage of Adventure Mode, after defeating two smaller DK's.
Extra appearances include an immensely large version (over twice as large as the normal Super Mushroom DK) that appears in Event 25: Gargantuans against the player controlling a similarly-sized Bowser, plus a super tiny Mario and Peach.
Giant DK returns in Brawl. He appears in Event 9: The Monster Beneath the Earth. If the player can't kill the two Diddy Kongs, he/she must fight Giant DK, who kills with one hit. Also, in Event 27: Three-Beast Carnage, Giant DK returns with Giant Bowser and Giant Charizard, attacking New Pork City. Finally, in Co-Op Event 14: The Dark Guardians, Ganondorf and Wolf must defeat Giant Charizard and Giant DK, again in New Pork City.
Additionally, the player must fight a Giant Shadow Bug Diddy Kong during the course of the Subspace Emissary, possibly in reference to Giant Donkey Kong.
