Carrotia (キャロッティア, Kyarottia) is a minor antagonist and the third boss in Tails' Skypatrol. She is anthropomorphic rabbit wearing a pink bow and was one of the three henchmen of Witchcart.

History[]

Tails' Skypatrol[]

Along with Focke-Wulf and Bearenger, Carrotia was one of three henchmen of Witchcart, the villain of the game, who was threatening to transform inhabitants of the island into crystals. She was defeated by Miles "Tails" Prower.

Battle[]

Carrotia appears at the end of MetalIsland Area, riding around in a flying vehicle resembling a carrot.

Boss guide[]

During the battle, Carrotia has two types of attacks. One is where she crossfires small carrot-shaped homing missiles, which Tails can dispatch with his Ring, rewarding a hundred points each. The second attack is where she blows kisses at Tails, which the player can knock away with Tails' Ring. Getting hit by either attack will stun Tails. Unlike Witchcart's other henchmen, Carrotia is too fast to be caught and thus cannot be tossed by Tails' Ring, forcing the player to land twenty hits with the Ring to defeat Carrotia.

In the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics, Carrotia goes by the name Carrotia the Rabbit. In this media, she is a part of the Witchcarters, a trio of mobians controlled by Wendy Naugus against their will.

Trivia[]

  • Carrotia's name is derived from "carrot", a vegetable that rabbits are famously known to eat.
  • In the Japanese box artwork for Tails' Skypatrol, not only is her bow incorrectly colored red instead of pink, but her ears are also incorrectly colored red to match her bow, making it appear as if they are part of the bow itself. Her carrot-shaped vehicle also looks more like a realistic carrot.
